We’re excited to introduce you to our intern Kim! This post is long overdue as she’s been our intern since January but better late than never right?. She’s interested in graphic design and has redone our business cards, postcards and banners on our site! She’s learning cinema and photography with us and will be joining us at weddings this year! :)

We always love to see something different at weddings, and performances are always fun! This is the first time we’ve seen a DJ come out and skate at a wedding. Primo actually has this as an add-on to his DJ packages and I’m pretty sure you can have both he and his wife skate together like they used to at Sea World’s City Streets back in the day! Jared and I both remember watching and loving that show as kids so you can imagine how excited we were to see this
So you saw a clip of it in Alycia and Micah’s recap, now here’s the whole performance…enjoy!

Hey everyone, we are so so so excited to announce that San Diego has voted us the #1 videographer on the 10 News A-list! Thank you to everyone who voted for us…you are awesome…and thank you to everyone who supports us, we really appreciate all the love and support from our friends, family and clients.

So this is our third short film that we’ve put together for Stillmotion’s contest! The theme was ‘gateway’ and we had a hard time with this theme. For some reason, the first one we ever did was the one that was the easiest to come up with a story. This one was a little tricky. We thought of all the things we could think of that mean ‘gateway’ and this is what we came up with, story and all in a minute long video… If we win first prize we actually get to go meet the team and go to a workshop which would be so incredible for us! We are always looking to improve our work and what better way to learn than from the cinematographers we look up to most

As much as we love to shoot weddings, it’s always fun to do something different. StillMotion, a company up in Canada started doing some fun contests for video shorts. They actually started it with their employees as a way to encourage creativity but they’ve since opened it to the public on their education section of their blog! The rules are that it can only be a minute and it has to take you less than 3 hours to make. And of course you have to follow the theme which for the first one was “found”. So here’s our interpretation of that theme…and soon you’ll see the next one! Here’s the link to the rest of the videos that competed…we didn’t win but we’re just happy we made the cut!

We hope your wedding planning is going well.
We have some fun wedding videos to share with you soon but I realized this was our 100th blog post and thought I should do something special!
We have been planning on editing together some inspiration boards like photographers do (check out Style Me Pretty for some examples) – but in video!
SO – what we need are ideas. Well, we have ideas but we want to know what you want to see! What would help you come up with ideas for your own wedding?
