What a beautiful wedding! You really can’t go wrong at the Hotel Del on Coronado. But add two dentists with big beautiful smiles and you’ve got a recipe for an awesome event. I loved all the dentist jokes during the speeches, their little puppy and their thumbs up all throughout the day. The surprise first and father & daughter dances were awesome and Brian’s surprise to Kim was sweet. You two were just great and we had a lot of fun on your day, congratulations!

Kirsten and Michael are so cute together. They met while overseas serving our country and have had to spend a lot of time apart during their relationship. It was so awesome to see them together, enjoying their wonderful day. They had a lot of fun ideas like the dessert bar AND fresh doughnuts! They also had a getaway on a gondola, so romantic.

Sara and Patrick met us through one on our couples from ’09 Kate and Greg (such a huge compliment to us when we get referrals from past couples!). Sara asked if we were willing to travel to Paso Robles for their wedding and we said OF COURSE! In fact we had just been there a few weeks before she contacted us for a mini vacation. We love it up there, small towns and tons of wineries = right up our alley.

Anyway, their wedding was gorgeous with sweeping views of the vines, a warm summer day, lots of great people and delicious food. We really had a great time shooting their wedding. Their little dog Hayley was pretty cute too even though she didn’t like the camera and barked at me the whole time!

Vicky&Kostas have such an awesome love story spanning 18 years. We didn’t meet with them before the wedding as they were planning this event long distance but over the course of the day we were able to piece parts of their story together. I think the biggest thing we noticed about these two is just how in love they are. It may have taken them a long time to figure it out but it’s so obvious to us on the outside. They got each other the same present as you’ll see and their personal vows were so similar. His family is Greek so we got to see a fun tradition of theirs at the reception where they shower money over people during the dancing, and their friends do skits for each others’ weddings so that was a fun addition to the craziness! I also loved their dessert bar = YUM! We had a great time working with you two and all your fabulous vendors as well, congratulations Vicky&Kostas, enjoy!

I don’t know how these two found this venue but it was lovely! This was the first wedding at the Valentino Estate. Whimsical trees and a quiet pond surround the ceremony location and Katie had these wonderful glass orbs hanging from the trees. I loved all the little details, the way she displayed the name cards and unity sand photo frame. And their friends put together a flash mob dance to Rihanna’s Umbrella to kick off the dancing. So fun

It was so fun getting to spend so much time with these families over the weekend. We started the evening before the wedding with the Sangeet full of family performances, delicious food and dancing. You might notice a group of people all dancing the same moves who all memorized the routine of Jai Ho (the song at the end of Slumdog Millionaire) That was awesome!! The celebrations continued the next morning in the rain as they put on all their beautifully detailed attire and headed to the ceremony starting with Manu on horseback – luckily the rain ceased for that part of the day. After a fourteen hour day for us, filled with wonderful food, it ended with the Vidai farewell. Congratulations you two.
