Brittney and Dustin – San Diego Wedding Cinema

Everyone seemed so excited about this couple and their union:)They were so happy to be getting married and their parents had a great idea on how to surprise them with their honeymoon location. They had all the family/friends who were important to their wedding share a clue and at the end of the night they found out they were going to the Turks&Caicos islands. Fun idea! Enjoy this young fun couple and their wedding.

Alycia and Micah – Admiral Kidd Club – San Diego Wedding Cinema

Alycia and Micah have such a cool story of how they found each other and how they knew they should be together. They are so happy in love and just giddy all the time. We had a wonderful time shooting their love story that they showed at their reception and so it was no surprise that we had a great time shooting their wedding too! We actually got to be there to capture their very first kiss ever! It was pretty cool. At the reception there were a few fun performances…their DJ’s used to be performers at Sea World’s City Streets and so Primo came out and did a skateboard performance. Then the groom got out there and beatboxed to his bride and at the end surprised her with where they were going on their honeymoon! Fun night, fun couple, we wish them the best:)Congratulations Alycia and Micah…

Kathy and Ryan – US Grant, San Diego

The US Grant is such a great venue for weddings, we love shooting there, it’s beautiful and downtown which is fun for night time shots. Their wedding was beautiful and unique. They decided not to do many of the traditional events like a first dance but included a full mariachi band for an hour! She also had two beautiful dresses which is always fun:) Favorite things: Kathy’s son walking her down the aisle – such a sweet moment, their cake – so beautiful with the gold detail, and their time lapse – we thought it would be fun to try something new!

Charlotte and Jonathan – California Center for the Arts

Charlotte and Jonathan are such a cute young couple. One of the things I liked about their wedding – they had the typical speeches but then they had a ‘toast & roast’ so anyone could get up and tell an embarrassing story! They really had a fun time – so fun in fact that the groom chipped his tooth on the garter, that’s definitely a first for us to capture!

Alana and Jed – Marina Village – San Diego

A fun group of people, a delicious meal and a beautiful couple, what more could you ask for on your wedding day? Alana and Jed were super awesome to work with. They had a best man dance and Jed’s mom sang (very well) to them. I think my favorite thing were the little couple Alana hand painted – you can see it right at the very beginning. Everyone seemed to have so much fun all day – congrats you two!!

Lina and Eric – Casa De Shapiro – North San Diego County

Eric and Lina had a beautifully unique wedding. She’s from Denmark and so they included some Danish traditions – like grabbing the groom and cutting off the tip of his socks for example. The Danes had to learn some of our traditions as well like catching the bouquet. It was really neat seeing the two (who are obviously very much in love) combine their cultures and friends and family. Enjoy this emotional and awesome wedding!
