We had a wonderful day working with these two at Loews Coronado Resort. We started at the resort for the getting ready and enjoyed getting to know them a bit. They decided to have a destination wedding since each of their families were coming from different parts of the country. They settled on beautiful San Diego and had a wonderful day! The guys socks were awesome and they had a great time hanging out. I loved the bridesmaid dresses, they were such a nice color on the girls and they could be tied on in lots of different ways. We had a little adventure when the ladies realized how far out we were in Coronado and couldn’t find an Uber! We all helped trying to find something and ended up having to all carpool. But luckily that was the only thing to go wrong all day.
The ceremony was beautiful in a pretty chapel with a choir. We never mind if people do a first look or not but since most people do these days, it’s nice to see when people don’t every once in a while. It’s just so sweet to see the groom see his bride for the first time. They had a lovely ceremony and then had a big break between the ceremony and reception.
The reception was back at Lowes Coronado. They took a bunch of photos while their guests were enjoying cocktails and grilled cheese sandwiches, so awesome. They had an Instax camera for putting photos in the guest book and eventually the couple joined cocktail hour with their guests. The ballroom decor was gorgeous. We loved the pretty flowers and candles and the cake was fantastic. There was a coffee bar with a barista making whichever drink you would like. And they had a dessert spread and photo booth as well. There were so many fun things to do at their reception. They had a great party with sweet speeches which you’ll hear. We hope you enjoy this couple as much as we did!
