Rebecca and Keegan had a beautiful Temecula wedding! The guys played poker while the girls got ready and then they had an adorable first look. Their photo session in the vineyards was so pretty and their ceremony was so sweet with their fun personal vows! We loved the instant photo guest book and the dessert bar, and it was so fun when Rebecca changed into a cute short dress halfway through the reception!
All this sun in southern CA right now in February is making me want to share this beautiful wedding!! I love that their wedding was like a love letter to California, this is where they met, and now where they got married. They had fun California decor, a bay ceremony and the reception at a sailing club (something they enjoy doing together). We even had some seagulls chasing our drone during the reception when we took a fun photo of the whole wedding party to round out the beachy theme. We hope you enjoy their story!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from SidebySide Cinema’s family!!! We’ve had a whirlwind 2025, life just keeps getting busier somehow and we were honestly so surprised with how quickly this year flew by. I can’t even sum up this year, it was a little bit of everything, definitely full! We are still filming weddings (I will catch up on sharing those someday), and we’re doing a lot with our sister company Scattered Light Media. We’re mostly busy with all the kids activities and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We took a big trip last month and this video ended up being VERY last minute…wait I say that every year? Yeah, that sounds about right. But hey, at least we got it done, it’s tradition after all! Enjoy our Hallmark Christmas Card this year!
Wow, we’ve been so busy with life lately that we’ve gotten a little behind on sharing beautiful wedding films!! Don’t worry, we’re still here, and we’re still telling stories! And we hope to tell yours one day 🙂
Jacqueline and Kyle had a beautiful summer wedding at Faulker Winery with beautiful purples and colors that just popped! I loved her first look with her bridesmaides, so cute! I also loved Kyle’s pin, such a clever way to memorialize a loved one.
Winery weddings allow for really fun photo time among the vines and the green and purples just looked lovely together.
The evening culminated in fun dancing, s’more roasting and the guests enjoyed a fun cake with donuts on it!
We had the pleasure of working with Nicole’s cousins filming their weddings in years past. So we were thrilled when they reached out to work with us as well! They had their wedding in such a cool spot, in the mountains at Serendipity Gardens.
It’s a perfect little venue for weddings with the getting ready suites, beautiful views for the ceremony and an awesome area for eating and dancing. We really enjoyed getting to see some of our past couples throughout the day and everyone was just so nice!
As you’ll see, the wedding was so fun and I loved all the flowers and details. Hope you enjoy!!
Oh man, we’ve been busy both working and having intentional family time during the holidays. We hope that you and your families did the same! Congratulations to all you out there who got engaged during this time, yay! Happy planning and we hope that our blog will give you some fun videos to watch for inspiration. We’ve filmed some very creative weddings and moments over the years and it’s so fun to share them.
For now, here’s a snippet of some of the celebrations we got to be a part of last year, enjoy! Many more blog posts to come, stay tuned 🙂
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from your friendly neighborhood videographers! Enjoy our silly tradition and once a year personal video that we share. All 18 years we’ve been together 🙂 This year was Olympic inspired and we even let the kids try their hand at some improv for the interview bits. Hope you enjoy!
And here’s the story behind the tradition: We got married November 2007 so by the time we got back from our honeymoon and moving and all the wedding/marriage things, we just didn’t even think about Christmas cards that first year. So in the 11th hour, literally on Christmas Eve, we thought of making that very first video as our Christmas card. It took no time at all and it was just silly. Then we said to ourselves, “we should do this every year!” And then we did! They have clearly gotten more involved over the years and we’ve included our kids and animals but they are no more well planned. We always have a whole year to figure out an idea and every single time we wait until the last minute (maybe next year we’ll plan better…maybe)…So enjoy our silly little tradition (last minute as usual)…
We hope that you all have a wonderful year in 2025, and we hope to see you soon!
