Beautiful.emotional. Heather and Jake’s day couldn’t have been more lovely. They are beautiful both inside and out we enjoyed getting to know them the little bit we could on their day. The light was gorgeous and we had fun shooting with the photographer in all the grape vines in the late afternoon (we couldn’t go out earlier because it’s rattlesnake season!) Loved their favor of chapstick, we hadn’t seen that before at a wedding. enjoy!

Brittany + Marc – From the Rooftops – San Diego Wedding Cinema

What a beautiful wedding and beautiful couple! Brittany and Marc were so sweet and we loved working with them. They have had to go through a lot of tough things over the last few years and it’s so neat to see how positive and happy they are together. Brittany had such wonderful details and the rooftop locations were so pretty! One thing I thought was really neat was at the ceremony when they locked their love away and threw away the key, a tradition they found on vacation in Italy. I also loved Brittany’s dance with her dad. They are a family who filmed everything in life (a concept we’re fully familiar with 🙂 and while they danced they played a video of Brittany and her dad dancing when she was a kid, so cute!! Heather and Michael had a Cinco de Mayo wedding and it was definitely a blast! We worked with a great group of vendors and the day really was perfect. I loved that they were both nervous at the beginning of the day but when they came together they were cool as a cucumber and the day couldn’t be better. The details were amazing, down to the little flags with their names and wedding date. Keep watching and you’ll get to see the pinata action toward the end = YES!!

Najwa + Richard – Made For You – San Diego Wedding Cinema

Another wedding this year where we got to enjoy seeing a past couple! We worked with Najwa’s brother and sister in law back in ’09 and they were so kind to recommend us for this wedding. Najwa and Rick combined their two cultures and their event was so fun-filled. Their personalized gifts to their bridal party were awesome and I loved their grand entrance. These two just light up when they see each other and it’s so evident that they are in love.

Another rainy day wedding, well at least it started that way, thunder and all. We even had to move the ceremony inside on the dance floor. Amanda and Jeff were all smiles though, nothing would ruin their day. After the ceremony, it cleared up with a beautiful overcast afternoon! Tigers and llamas and zebras, oh my! Rancho Las Lomas was a gorgeous venue to have an event. Joel and Michelle chose a lovely place and they couldn’t have timed it any better. They were concerned about the rain but were watching their weather apps and decided that we could still squeeze the ceremony in before the downpour. We were safe from the weather until the reception, and that made it pretty romantic. The two of them even danced in the rain toward the end!

When they reconnected as adults, he was in love and she still thought they were cousins…after finding out the truth, it was love for the both of them.
