Melissa and Darren – El Cortez – San Diego

Melissa and Darren had a lovely wedding overlooking the ocean at Calumet Park. We were worried it would rain but it cleared up just enough for some perfectly awesome light! After the ceremony we headed down to the El Cortez for a fun reception!

Favorite parts: they had 2 groom cakes…a California one and a Texas one since part of their relationship was long distance…the sweet letter Darren wrote to his mother and their first dance.

Lisa and Brent – The Prado – San Diego

Lisa and Brent had a beautiful wedding at the Prado. The flowers were gorgeous and I really loved the fuscia shoes that the bridesmaids wore! Her dad also hopped on the keyboard and sang a few songs which was a fun surprise!

Brigette and John – The Grand Del Mar

February thirteenth, Brigette and John had a love themed wedding! It was a truly decadent wedding with beautiful decor, rich colors and a gorgeous setting. They couldn’t have had a nicer day either considering all the rain we’ve had lately!

My favorite parts of this video…her dress, the ring shot (yep, heart shaped) and their dancing in the huge gazebo!

So since it’s St. Patrick’s Day and I only finished this video a couple days ago, I figured it would be appropriate to share it with you now…

Jared and I decided to take a longer trip over the summer of ’09 and visit some places we’d always wanted to go. Some of the best advice we’ve gotten from married couples about marriage is to make good memories the first few years. Since we don’t have kids yet, now is the time to explore the world together. We chose Ireland because that’s a place we both have wanted to go for a long time. We decided on the Netherlands because I still have family there – and so we could “discover my roots” hah! And we thought the history of Berlin would be cool to see as well. We definitely had some fun adventures as you will see through this video. We just brought our “handycam” video camera which we hand held so excuse the lack of quality and the bumps! hah   🙂

Freeze Frame – Promo Video

We had the wonderful opportunity to work alongside the 80’s band Freeze Frame at Deborah and Steve’s wedding back in October. They were awesome, kept ALL the guests on the dance floor and left everyone wanting more. They had us put together a promo video to a sample of music they perform.
