Library Media Technicians – Promotional Video

Weddings are all we have been posting lately and there are still a bunch more coming up but I thought I would throw in something a little different today! This is a little side project we got the opportunity to work on. My mom is a librarian in the schools and she and some colleagues wanted to work on a promotional video all about their jobs and what they do on a daily basis. This project is similar to one we did a while back that we worked for the Escondido Library and Center for Literacy about the Scabble-thon. Hopefully you will enjoy this little video and see a bit of a different side of SidebySide 🙂

Nicole and Daniel – Recap Video – Hotel Del, Coronado

Nicole and Daniel got married at Founder’s Chapel at USD and had their reception at the beautiful Hotel Del in Coronado. We were excited to be able to spend the day with them. Their reception was beautiful, I loved the golden candle holders, it made everything so warm looking. Another favorite thing from this wedding was the cigar roller. They had a guy rolling Cuban cigars for all the guests, it was definitely a hit!

Dawn and Mike – Recap Video – L’Auberge Del Mar

Dawn and Mike had their ceremony at a beautiful catholic church in Del Mar…after the ceremony we all headed over the the L’Auberge for their reception. We LOVED the manzanita branches that their florist used for some of the decor. But I think my favorite part is Mike’s face as Dawn walked down the aisle. This was another very in love couple we’ve had the awesome chance to work with! Everyone seemed to have a great time as you’ll see…

Sarah and Michael – Wedding recap – Glorietta Bay Coronado

Sarah and Mike had a lovely ceremony overlooking Coronado bay. Their ceremony was lovely and their reception was beautiful too 🙂 They are yet another couple who are so obviously in love! It reminds me how much we love to record these beautiful memories for people.  My favorite parts in this video are Sarah hugging her little ring bearers, her warm smile throughout the whole video, and the part in their vows where they say they vow to love each other a little more each day. I think that’s a great promise!

SidebySide Video – Real Weddings

So in the past month, we’ve been in 3 “real weddings” articles listed as vendors! I’ll put them in order of when they each got married. First we have the online version of Exquisite Magazine. Needless to say, we’re pretty excited to have all that happen in one month! It’s neat to see people sharing their wedding ideas with all these “real weddings”. It’s nice to know there are other real people planning their weddings out there 🙂 We hope to see some more of our couples out there sending in their wedding experiences!

Shay and Broc Wedding Recap – The Ivy Hotel San Diego

A sweeping view of San Deigo, bobbleheads and mock double dutch on the dance floor, were just a few highlights from this wedding recap. Shay and Broc had rooftop ceremony at the Ivy Hotel in San Diego, and had a fun reception down in a ballroom below. They seemed like they had so much fun at their wedding. It was really neat too because Shay’s brother, who couldn’t be there because he is serving in the military overseas right now, wrote a letter to her to be read on her wedding day. It was so sweet and emotional and it was awesome that we got to capture that for them 🙂

Lani and Pete Wedding Recap – L’Auberge Del Mar

Lani and Pete are so incredibly cute together! They had a beautiful Jewish ceremony overlooking the ocean at Sea Grove Park and continued the festivities at the L’Auberge. They are just a fun-loving couple and really genuine too, asking if we were having a fun time all night! I loved the fall colors and the dancing shots, especially the Horah since the ceiling is quite low and they were a little concerned about getting pushed through the ceiling!
