Linda and Spencer’s Scripps Forum Wedding was just so beautiful! Everything from the gorgeous dress details, to the story of how they met were just magical. They couldn’t have had a more perfect day. They got ready at the La Jolla Shores Hotel and had a great time. The girls were so cute being so happy for Linda. Her dress had a lot of buttons which made for a fun time as well.
The two had their first look at Scripps Seaside Forum and I just loved Spencer’s face when he got to see his bride for the first time. That coupled with his vows to her about how lucky he was to find her just makes it so great. I loved seeing the wedding party from the window spying on the first look too.
They had pretty flowers and awesome weather. I know sometimes couples are bummed that it’s overcast, but LOOK at this wedding!! Overcast days really do give such pretty lighting and even skin tones. So fantastic. Their vows mixed in with what the officiant said were so cool because you really get to hear the whole story of how they found each other.
It’s really great having a Scripps Forum wedding because you’re up on the cliff to get phenomenal sunset views, but still close enough to do photo time on the beach. And the nice thing about being up on the cliff is you are far enough away from all the regular beach goers and the sound of the waves drowning out your vows. Their reception was super fun with a band and beautiful decor. There was a yummy dessert bar and so much great dancing under the twinkle lights!
