Mayra + Alonzo – Love is an Adventure – San Diego Wedding Cinema

It’s still the Wild Animal Park to us, since we grew up going there…but we really enjoyed working at the Safari Park with this really, incredibly sweet couple! We shot Mayra’s brother and sister in law’s wedding a couple years ago so it was neat to see them as well. Mayra spent a lot of time on the details of this wedding to fit the venue. I love all the earthy decor and hearing all the animals all night was so fun. Enjoy the beauty!

Brittany + Eric – Poetic – San Diego Wedding Cinema

The SD Museum of Art at Balboa Park was the perfect setting for Brittany and Eric with art themed tables and a sunset ceremony. They are such a cute couple who made each other laugh all day. I love that his phone rang during their first look, something to remember, that’s for sure. Along with that, we had some other surprises like Brittany singing for Eric and a flash mob to surprise Brittany. Such joy and love. Congratulations.

Kristin + Rodger – Butterflies and Storms – San Diego Wedding Cinema

On our second rainy wedding of all of 2011 (yes we love living in San Diego) we had the pleasure of working with the lovely Kristin and Rodger. They had the greatest attitudes about having rain on their wedding day, nothing was going to ruin it! They were surprised with a butterfly release after the ceremony, which was so sweet. They had a wonderful wedding…enjoy.

Mia + Paul – Celebrate – San Diego Wedding Cinema

We always love to work with couples who incorporate their family traditions into the wedding along with their American ones. It certainly makes for a long day but the lion dance and belly dancers with snakes certainly gave us a second wind! All the color, tradition and Vietnamese food 😉 were wonderful at this wedding. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.

Anette + Art – To Inspire – San Diego Wedding Cinema

Annette and Art and their family had such a sweet ceremony and fun reception. They included their children in the ceremony and had touching vows for each other. The band at the reception was great and Art hopped up there toward the end to perform a few songs he’d been practicing with his [now] step-son. Enjoy!

Colleen + Glenn – Inextricably Intertwined – San Diego Wedding Cinema

I loved watching all the family dynamics at this wedding, Colleen’s family from out of town dealing with the CA traffic, the kids playing in the backyard, Glenn’s family tearing it up on the dance floor…it’s just so neat to see how weddings bring people together. There were some accidents on the freeway and nobody was sure if everyone would get where they needed to be in time, but thankfully, as you can see, it turned out wonderfully!

What an emotional event to film – Tatum’s husband was coming home from the military and we got to shoot it for them. A wonderful and unique moment for us to be a part of. Thanks Tatum for including us in this and thanks Dave for all you do for our country! enjoy 🙂
