San Diego Bridal Bazaar

Hey everyone,

We had a great time meeting people at the Bridal Bazaar this past Sunday. It was a fun show and there were some really great folks there 🙂 We also enjoyed seeing many of our vendor friends, as always! Make sure to contact us soon for 2012 bookings, we look forward to working with you!

Christianne & Nick – Coronado Community Center – Coronado Wedding Cinema

Christianne and Nick had an awesome DIY wedding. I loved the awesome straws in their mason jar specialty drinks (they looked so yummy), the pinwheel name cards, and I always love a good candy bar 🙂 They did so much work to make all the details and we think it turned out great. One thing I hadn’t seen before is on the invitation you could choose ‘beef’ or ‘fish’ and then at the wedding it turned out that the food was hamburgers or fish tacos! And their program looks like one of those little school notebooks with the lined paper inside and everything. Anyway, enjoy this super cute couple and their wedding:

Loved the colors, loved the couple, great wedding all around. I don’t think we’ve ever seen this before but they cut the cake with a hatchet, which was awesome! We had a great time, we wish you the best Trisha and Greg!

Yamia and Asaf’s business has grown and because of that they’ve had to move into a new building! Yamia, with her lovely interior design skills, made the place beautiful and also decorated for the event. They had an early morning ribbon cutting with some speeches and then all the employees got to see the new space they’d be working in for the first time. We took the photos and the video and put together this fusion project for them. Here’s a link to an article about them.

Karly & Brian – Sunset Cliffs Estate – San Diego Wedding Cinema

Brian is a photographer here in San Diego and a fellow vendor with us at weddings! We are always humbled when the people we work with use us for their weddings or other projects! Karly and Brian had a clifftop ceremony overlooking Ocean Beach followed by a lovely reception at the Estate. It was a cool place, very homey 🙂 Their friend painted the surfboard with their names and date, so beautiful and a great idea!  I also loved their cake topper and all the ways they included their dogs, so fun!

Joan & Norm – Thursday Club – San Diego Wedding Cinema

What a chill, fun, awesome day. We had so much fun with and Joan and Norm and with all the vendors. They are so easy to get along with and their wedding was so smooth. I loved all the personal touches they had, lots of photo frames with pictures of them all around. It really fit the venue since the Thursday Club is so homey. I also really liked the letterpress match boxes as the favors, very nice. And the cake topper was probably the first paper one we’ve ever seen! But my favorite part was the first dance, choreographed to a few different songs including the one from Napoleon Dynamite, so awesome.

Elma & Tony – Los Willows – San Diego Wedding Cinema

This was our first time shooting at Los Willows, a lovely little venue tucked away in Fallbrook. Elma and Tony are the sweetest couple, as evidenced by the wonderful friends and family that surrounded them. I loved the orange, the boat ride processional, the emotional speeches (we may have teared up a little 😉 ) and the ring shot at the very end = YES!

Congratulations Elma and Tony, you are awesome!
