2011 Highlights – San Diego Wedding Cinema

Wow, what a year! It is always difficult to make these films as I feel kind of sad to be done with all these weddings. But I did enjoy going back through them all and reminiscing about all the good times we had. We did less traveling in 2011 than in 2010 but we still had quite a variety of couples, venues, ideas and traditions. This year was the year of performances, first looks and grand exits – flash mobs, surprises for each other, it was incredible. Seeing the emotion, the laughs, the smiles, the happy tears makes our job so incredibly worthwhile and we just absolutely love it. We do these highlights every year and incorporate all our weddings at least once which makes it challenging since we’re reducing around 14,000 clips and over 100 hours of memories from 2011 down to this 7 1/2 minute film. But the challenge is all worth it because of the film below, enjoy!

Kelsey + Jeff – Better Together – San Diego Wedding Cinema

They really are better together, that was the theme that flowed through the day, through the vows and toasts. We just love to see how people came to find each other and realize they would be together forever. This was a destination wedding at the Hotel Del Coronado and what a place to have everyone travel…what a beautiful wedding for their guests to be a part of. We enjoyed meeting you and working with you Jeff and Kelsey, enjoy your life together!

Kim + Brian – Two Thumbs Up – San Diego Wedding Cinema

What a beautiful wedding! You really can’t go wrong at the Hotel Del on Coronado. But add two dentists with big beautiful smiles and you’ve got a recipe for an awesome event. I loved all the dentist jokes during the speeches, their little puppy and their thumbs up all throughout the day. The surprise first and father & daughter dances were awesome and Brian’s surprise to Kim was sweet. You two were just great and we had a lot of fun on your day, congratulations!

Kirsten + Michael – Sail Away – Coronado Wedding Cinema

Kirsten and Michael are so cute together. They met while overseas serving our country and have had to spend a lot of time apart during their relationship. It was so awesome to see them together, enjoying their wonderful day. They had a lot of fun ideas like the dessert bar AND fresh doughnuts! They also had a getaway on a gondola, so romantic.

Congratulations you two, we’re so happy for you.
