Lindsay + Taka – Japanese Friendship Gardens

We loved working with these two at the beautiful Japanese Friendship Gardens in San Diego, CA. There were some really fun things at this wedding that were definitely unique. They had a funny groom entrance with fun music that then cut right back to the soft sweet music for the rest of the processional. We put it on Instagram and it took off! You can see just that short video there, but you can also watch the full highlight here!

We also loved the 10,000 cranes speech during the ceremony and they gave everyone a chance to make their own at the reception. The couple had choreographed their first dance and they had tons of awesome dancing through the night! They also had cookie ice cream sandwiches for dessert, so awesome.

We hope you enjoy!

Arianna + Adam – Ethereal Wedding Venue

Arianna and Adam had the most beautiful wedding/vow renewal. They had planned to get married in 2020 and still did have a small ceremony with their closest friends and family. The big party was something that was still on their hearts to have so they postponed and then enjoyed this beautiful day! I love all the personal little details they chose like the door at the end of the ceremony, that was such a beautiful symbol of entering their new life together. At the reception, the groom’s best man wasn’t able to be there but the bride surprised him with getting an audio recording of his speech to play, so special! Everyone had an amazing time on the dance floor and it was just a fun celebration of love.

Megan and Aaron – Flower Fields wedding

Megan and Aaron had a beautiful wedding at St. Therese of Carmel followed by a super fun reception at the Carlsbad Flower Fields. It was a beautifully warm southern California day. I loved seeing Aaron’s face watching his bride come down the aisle and the little flower girls were adorable! The Flower Field venue is really fun, there’s a patio area for the cocktail hour with drinks and yummy snacks, and then the party and dancing was inside the barn. The band was so fun and kept the party going along with a delicious churro late night snack.

Hope you enjoy!

Merry Christmas 2022!!

We hope you all had a wonderful year! Enjoy our annual Christmas video 🙂

Read below for backstory if you’re new here.

We don’t share many personal videos, but once a year we do! Enjoy our FIFTEENTH annual Christmas card video! And if you’re new here, check out our old ones too! (p.s. we are aware we’re super dorks ok)

Check out our previous years!! 2021, 202020192018201720162015, 2014201320122012 bloopers, 20112011 bloopers201020092008 & 2007

And if you’re still reading, a little backstory: We got married November 2007 so by the time we got back from our honeymoon and moving and all the wedding/marriage things, we just didn’t even think about Christmas cards that first year. So in the 11th hour, literally on Christmas Eve, we thought of making that very first video. It took no time at all and it was just silly. Then we said to ourselves, “we should do this every year!” And then we did! They have clearly gotten more involved over the years but they are no more well planned. We always have a whole year to figure out an idea and every single time we wait until the last minute…So enjoy our silly little tradition!

Alex + Eric – Lake Oak Meadows Wedding

Alex and Eric were such a fun couple to work with! We were lucky enough to work with them twice. The pandemic postponed their big ceremony but they wanted to honor their chosen wedding day with an elopement. We posted about that video here. But now we’re finally sharing their big wedding celebration with all their family and friends!

They got married at the beautiful Lake Oak Meadows in Temecula. They gave each other such thoughtful gifts and their personal vows were just so lovely. One really neat personal touch was at the reception. They gave out bottles of their brews since Eric has a brewery, such a great idea!

It was so wonderful seeing these two finally getting married after all this time with all their friends and family. We hope you enjoy!!

Sara + Hugo – Darlington House Wedding Film

We love a subtle wedding theme and this wedding was just the perfect example!! Sara and Hugo love books and so they included elements all throughout. Starting with the venue, the Darlington House, they had their first look in the library. Also the cutest first look ever, Hugo was just smitten!

The guest “book” was a library card catalogue where guests would write their well wishes on a card. Each of the tables were their favorite authors and guests could look at the “table of contents” to find their seats.

The day was absolutely beautiful starting with that first look, then enjoying the ceremony at a the beautiful Immaculata, and then the gorgeous decor at the Darlington House again. The flowers and cake were so pretty and they had an artist painting their reception live. They had wonderful speeches and so much fun dancing.

We hope you enjoy this lovely wedding, book end to book end!

Rosie + Travis – Wedding Videography

If you’ve followed us for a while, you know that we always LOVE getting to work weddings of siblings. We filmed Rosie’s brother and sister-in-law’s wedding a year before (right before the pandemic) and were supposed to do this wedding that same year. It was postponed but we finally got to celebrate a year later. My favorite thing about this is we were able to see Tom and Negin again and see their growing family!

Rosie has a son and Travis has a daughter so it was really special getting to see how they blended their family during the celebration. Their venue was really pretty and made for weddings. Their personal vows were beautiful and they are going to have a lovely life together with their kiddos. They had a super fun party and ended the night so fun by changing into Hawaiian outfits for their exit!

We hope you enjoy these two!
