Lara + Chris – Ponte Winery Wedding

Lara and Chris had a beautiful springtime Ponte Winery Wedding in Temecula’s beautiful wine country. The day was just beautiful with amazing weather and just a wonderful ceremony and reception. The two got ready in the stone houses that the venue provides. The guys hung out and played corn hole on a personalized set. Lara had a sweet moment with her mom and her mom helped her with her beautiful dress. Lara and Chris had their first look and it was so cute, they were both so excited and happy!

We met Lara and Chris because we filmed Chris’ brother’s wedding a few years back! So cool getting to see our former couples again, we just love that. The ceremony backdrop was full of vineyards and beautiful skies. We love how Ponte Winery does weddings because even though they still keep their tasting room open, they keep the ceremony and reception blocked off so that couples can still have intimate and private events. I loved the colorful flowers on the vineyard backdrop, so pretty!

The reception was also beautiful, decked out in flowers and cute table signs that showed Chris and Lara at each age corresponding with the table number. This is such a cute idea to get people moving around the room and skip a growing up slide show. The reception was so fun! The bridal party had an epic grand entrance with everyone getting into it, and the speeches were pretty funny with a lot of brother razzing going on. They danced for hours after all the events and there were some really fun dancers out there!

We loved working with these two and I hope you enjoy their wedding film!

From the father of the bride:

“Tell them they did a spectacular job on the video productions – their artistic sense is amazing, and their camera work fantastic.  Even my close friend who works in Hollywood commented on some of the camera work, especially the focus pulls and slider shots.

You chose the best for your wedding!”

Thank you so much, that means the world!!

Anna + David – Scripps Seaside Forum Wedding

This wedding was just so much fun! Anna and David knew they wanted to get married at the Scripps Seaside Forum for a long time, so they took the soonest date they could and planned their beautiful and fun wedding from there. Anna and her bride crew and adorable puppy all got ready at her family’s house while the guys got ready at Scripps Seaside Forum. I had to do some creative editing with the guys as their hang man game got a little out of hand, but they had a great time. The girls finished getting ready at Scripps as well and we had a great time laughing about Anna’s dress. At some point they got off by a button and so it took a while to get her dress on. I love that she had a wonderful attitude about it and laughed throughout the whole day.

David and Anna had their first look overlooking the beautiful coastline and then Anna got to see her dad and twin brother too. They did some photo time and then had a beautiful ceremony on the cliff. The Scripps Seaside Forum is just a beautiful place for weddings, and all the words by Ceremonies by Bethel and of course the bride’s pretty puppy as the ring bearer, made the ceremony so beautiful. They marked the moment with a honey tasting!

The reception was just gorgeous with beautiful flowers and tablescapes and a super fun donut wall to join the cake for dessert. Anna and David joined cocktail hour after some family photo time and then had a beautiful first dance after the reception started. They had really really sweet speeches with run throughout the highlight. We thought it was great how the best man made everyone thing he was talking about the bride but he was really talking about the bride’s dog. We posted a little video on our Instagram with that one if you want to check it out! After all the official events, they danced the night away.

We hope you enjoy this beautiful wedding!

Jessica + Nick – Safari Park Wedding Film

Jambo! We had so much fun filming Jessica and Nick’s safari park wedding! I mean how could you go wrong getting married in front of hundreds of African animals but in San Diego weather!

They got ready in San Marcos at Lake San Marcos. There were such cute details and I loved the gifts they gave each other. They are big Disney and Star Wars fans so they had a few fun details that pointed to that. The ladies all got bracelets that had a Disney quote (like “never tell me the odds”), and Jessica got a cute box from Nick.

After they were all dressed and ready to go, we all headed to the San Diego Zoo’s Safari Park. If you grew up here in San Diego though, you know we all lovingly remember it as the Wild Animal Park (and if you are a true local, the WAP!) They wanted to do their first look in the bamboo forest leading to the Tiger Trails. It was so beautiful with the crickets singing and the light shining through the mist. They were just so so happy to see each other! After that, they read their vows to each other right by the tigers, we even had one watching.

The ceremony was at the Kijamii Overlook which was just fantastic. It overlooks all the African animals so they had quite a few extra guests witnessing the wedding ceremony. After that, they did some amazing photo time while their guests not only enjoyed cocktail hour but also animal encounters from the lovely Safari park ambassadors.

Later the two danced in to their grand entrance and choreographed first dance. They enjoyed a delicious meal and the ambiance of animal noises through the night. The weather was just perfect and all their decor fit the theme beautifully. Jessica and Nick, you two were so much fun and we just so enjoyed working with you! We hope you all enjoy this lovely safari park wedding as much as we did!

Nicole + Marc – San Diego Wedding Films

We just loved hearing about Nicole and Marc’s story! Marc had dreamt of living in California and that theme ran through the day. He had a California flag with his name embroidered on it, and the speeches were so sweet talking about how he achieved his dreams. We especially loved during the first look when they talked about how they were walking on the boardwalk and thought it would be awesome to get married in San Diego. And then not long after, here they are!

They got ready, married and partied all at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. It was such a cool venue. They got the neatest room for getting ready with big windows and incredible views. The guys had a little trouble with the bowties but they looked dapper when they finished getting ready. The ladies had a great time together and Nicole gave them such a sweet speech to thank them all for being there.

Marc and Nicole had their first look on the balcony overlooking the San Diego bay and then the ceremony was inside. Marc’s dad officiated the ceremony had they had amazing personal vows. After the ceremony, the guests all moved to another room for cocktail hour while Nicole and Marc did fun photos down on the boardwalk.

The reception was in another room on the same floor, the light pouring in from the big windows onto the beautiful cake and lovely flowers. They had lots of really great speeches to lead everyone through dinner and then to dancing. The sunset was beautiful so they went back out on the balcony for some more photo time. They did a hora, cake cutting, a bouquet toss and a garter toss (which ended in someone going the the ground for it!) and then into fun dancing time.

We really enjoyed getting to know these two and hope you get a glimpse of who they are through their wedding film!

Amy + Jack – Temecula Wedding Films

Amy and Jack are absolutely adorable! They have a plethora of cats who have adopted them, amazing dance skills and movie star smiles. They had a beautiful ceremony and reception at their Temecula Wedding. They got married at Villa de Amore and it was a gorgeous day! The girls all had flowers and succulents in their hair and the bride had an epic braid. The guys played pool and welcomed the guests to the party. The two had a first look and they were both simply beaming.

They had a wonderful photo time and then began the ceremony. Their officiant had some awesome words during the ceremony but Amy and Jack’s vows were the sweetest. They put letters to each other in a box to read in the future. They also had their dog included in the ceremony, can’t forget about that! That fluff ball was adorable and slept through the ceremony. And Amy’s mom was the flower girl, so great.

All the flowers were beautiful and we loved that they included succulents. Their cake also included frosting succulents and they had a delicious looking dessert spread. The Villa de Amore staff flipped the ceremony site and the reception was outside under the stars. They had some lovely speeches that all spoke about how lovely and caring these two are and it was so great getting to know them and their little family. They had amazing photo time after the sun began to go down, it was really a nice day. The two choreographed their first dance, enjoyed dinner with their guests and moved into the ballroom for more dancing fun.

Hope you enjoy these two!

Julie and Sang – Ethereal Gardens Wedding

We filmed Julie’s sister’s wedding about 6 or so years ago and were so honored when Julie and Sang reached out to have us film their Ethereal Gardens wedding as well. They started their day at Welk’s Resort in Escondido to get ready, then they headed to Ethereal Open Air to finish getting ready for the day. That venue has such great bride and groom rooms that are so boho and adorable. The girls’ room has a cool hanging couch where they did some photos and the guys had some fun playing pool and hanging out at the bar.

After they each got ready they enjoyed a first look together in the beautiful gardens at the venue. The lighting was just magnificent through all the leaves and they had a lovely photo time. The venue is just so great with many places to take photos. The ceremony was on the lawn with a beautiful wedding arch covered in flowers. The flower girl and ring bearer sang the processional song for the bride which was adorable. Julie and Sang wrote personal vows and the guests threw flower petals as they left the ceremony.

The reception details were great with beautiful flowers, farm tables, candles and a yummy dessert table. The bride danced an emotional dance with her brothers while photos of her dad were on a slideshow behind them. The two visited tables while the guests enjoyed food, a photobooth and dancing. They also did a fun sparkler exit at the end of the night.

We just had such a great time capturing Julie and Sangs Ethereal Gardens wedding and their beautiful story. We hope you enjoy as much as we did!

Meghan + Walker – Palm Springs Wedding Film

Wow, that’s all I can say after filming this wedding. Not just because this beautiful Palm Springs wedding was filled with amazing details, the best people and a donkey. But also because it was pouring rain the day before the wedding and yet look at how beautiful this day was. We even had to take a few detours just to get out there because of the unusual weather for us southern Californians! But we all made it and it couldn’t have been better.

The couple along with the wedding party and many guests made a whole weekend out of this event and all stayed at the beautiful La Quinta. Meghan’s shoes and earrings were to die for and the flower collar for her puppy was so cute. Walker enjoyed hanging out with his guys with cigars and cowboy boots and they were taking bets on who would cry during the ceremony.

All the details were so great. The blue and orange accents just popped against the desert landscape. Meghan designed all the paper accents and they were just lovely. They decided not to have a first look and had their ceremony in the sweetest little nook on the property. The aisle was lined with bougainvillea petals and I loved the flower girl throwing petals from the cowboy hat!

She surprised Walker with a donkey to hang out with all of the guests during cocktail hour. All the name cards were made on tiles. The unique vases and blue glasses along with the kumquats were just great. After the two had a beautiful photo session, they headed in for a grand entrance, first dance and reception events. Meghan eventually changed into a second outfit for dancing that was so cute. We had so much fun working with these two at their Palm Springs wedding. Hope you enjoy!
